Dreamy and Atmospheric

lyrics

My hands are shaking,
Is this a life worth taking?
I reach for the trigger
You see the gun? Am I the one?

I can't believe the words were spoken,
The eyes of time, a promise broken.

The paint is drying on the walls outside my window payne.
I wonder if the glass is strong enough to stop the rain.
The yellow sun that used to glow inside to start my day,
Is fading fast into a sleepy shade of hopeless grey.

My friend Hieronymus, on rainy days we take the bus.
The city streets are bare, the smell of coffee in the air.
We talk of memories and what became of yesterday.
My mind begins to wish that every day could be this way.

And teardrops roll down my face in the rain.
I know that places change but people stay the same.
Where are the faces I recall from the past?
Their memories like the sun are fading fast.

My friend Hieronymus, on rainy days we take the bus.
The city streets are bare, the smell of coffee in the air.
We talk of memories and what became of yesterday.
My mind begins to wish that every day could be this way.
