Carsten Pieper At last and after a too long time on my wishlist this album has finally been bought ;-)
Clearly recommended to friends of classic Pink Floyd (rather think Wish You Were Here than The Wall or in other words rather think Gilmour/Wright than Waters). Favorite track: Correct To The Core.

lloydd Mr. Miller is one of my favorite artists .I now own seven of his recordings, with this ranking right up there .His vocals remind me of David Gilmour and the music of Pink Floyd and a little bit of Alan Parsons Project .Another solid recording and as i have said many times nice to be able to support a fellow Canadian. Favorite track: Correct To The Core.

They tell you what to think, No need to explore. You feel how you’re told to feel, No more, shut the door. We let the righteous lead the way, The promise of a better day. The media frenzy has come to your door. They want Mr. Peterson tied down to the floor. And still the righteous lead the way We Google to a better day. They watch every move I make, They tell me I’m wrong. Correct me for my mistakes, I need to be strong. I thought I was born a man, But now I’m not sure. Gillette told me how to be, Correct to the core. I watch every move I make, I try to conform. Political harmony, Correct to the core. And still the righteous lead the way, We Google to a better day. The promise of a better day.

I see on TV, the things I should believe. I read printed word, Their meaning easy to see. I worship each day, a binary God. I’m on bended knee, His words can’t be wrong. Lost somewhere in cyberspace, My brain useless to me. I see the need to think for myself, But the information is free. A ship lost at sea, is easy to be. Belief in the machine, Is control that we need. Lost somewhere in cyberspace, My brain useless to me. I’ve lost the will to cogitate, But the problem lies with me.

I am the breeze, I move through the shadows. I am the rain, I fall when the wind blows. I am the land, I breathe when the rain falls. I am the sea, the land reaches out to me. I am the dead, there’s blood on the sand now. This is the end, life slowly slipping away. The wind in the trees, it blows as the rain falls. The land breathes again, it reaches out to the sea.

I will avert my eyes, When I realize that it’s you. To look upon your face Would mean a fall from Grace, That is true. I’ve lost my horizons to you. The many reach out to the few. I look toward the skies, When I realize that it’s you. I'm standing in this place, Awaiting your embrace,, That I do. The light from your eyes shining through, I need to believe that it’s true.

Often when on my bed I lie, In lost or darkened mood. I see the flash of that inward eye, The bliss of solitude. Then my heart with pleasure fills, As I dream of days gone by. Lost alone on distant hills, In a field of dreams I will lie. Alone I wander to a place I know, Where the mountains meet the sea. I hear the sound of the ocean roar, It’s siren calls to me. Evening comes and my heart goes back, To a place where I belong. Beside the lake, beneath the tree, Where I’ll dream of Avalon. It’s a place where dreams belong.

The Trial 09:55
I lead a normal life, I get to work on time. My job is at the village bank. I always stay till nine. I see my neighbour watching me, Her window facing mine. I wonder who she’s working for, I close the blinds in time. Someone's been telling lies of me, For I’ve done nothing wrong. Police are waiting at my door, They say it won’t take long. They tell me my arrest was for, Some undetermined crime. Paranoia isn’t just a simple state of mind. Someones been telling lies of me, For I’ve done nothing wrong. Police are waiting at my door, They say it won’t take long.

about

I've lost my horizons to you...

This is my most recent album, in the genre of what I would call Progressive Rock. That term defining the type of music that was made famous throughout the 70s by bands such as Genesis, The Moody Blues and Pink Floyd. The music is soft, dark, melancholy and melodic with the occasional edge, because that's the way I like it. So if you like your Prog Rock with lots of jazz fusion or heavy metal in it, you may not find what you're looking for here. I do hope you enjoy though.. and thanks for listening.
