Breaking Point

Battlescars 03:19
"To the island-valley of Avilion; Where falls not hail, or rain, or any snow, Nor ever wind blows loudly; but it lies Deep-meadow’d, happy, fair with orchard lawns And bowery hollows crown’d with summer sea, Where I will heal me of my grievous wound.”

Do you really want to know, Where a heart of darkness goes? Sharing flowers with the dead, Changing patterns in your head. They treat and deceive me, The talk of the dark and the light. The grey in my brain slowly oozes, They tell me what's wrong and what's right. Smashing the bottle on the wall, Watch the icy raindrops fall, Not so simply night and day, Life is only shades of grey.

Now the light is fading from your face, Like your arms, the day surrenders it's embrace. Dreams and memories I can't erase, Are ghosts that wait in the dark. Breathe in the evening air, Pray for the night. Go to places no one dares, But don't let go of the knife. Creeping shadows stand behind me, I feel the cut of the knife. The darkness slowly closes in on me. But tears of blood are my answer, They fall to rest in my heart. Take the river to the sea. Watch the morning sun. See the shadow by the tree, Now take the blade in your hand. Creeping shadows stand behind me, I feel the cut of the knife. The darkness slowly closes in on me. But tears of blood are my answer, They're all that's left in my heart.

I gave up my place on earth, For the heaven in your eyes. But the veil is slowly lifting now. I see through your disguise. Someday I'll find how to turn back the time. But now there's just one place for me. Deep in the dark of my soul. Strange fits of passion I have known, And I will dare to tell, but to myself alone. Deep in the darkness of my soul. I'll follow you and make a heaven out of hell, And I'll die by your hand, Which I love so well. The clouds over Avalon, Bring teardrops from the sky. There's smoke on the horizon, The city left to die. And dark is your world, Throw flowers on me. I welcome the sword, To be what will be. But the battle goes on, Deep in the dark of my soul. Deep in the dark of my soul.

White Dogs White dogs and feathers, they lay on our bed, In tuned to the silence and the tears that I've shed. Starlight and shadows are all that is left, I'm numb to the pain now, my heart longs for rest. The Raven Moonlight bright and forest deep, The trees fell silent for a secret they did keep. In her eyes a smouldering fire, The angel of dark and carnal desire. Her whispers caressed the ancient words, From the trees she charmed the black feathered bird. The spell was cast upon the darkening sky, The moon shone in the Raven's eye. And Broken And then one night he remained wide awake, To end the torment was the vow he did take, Taking his bow, he loosed a poison dart, The arrow pierced the Raven's heart. And through the forest echoed a deafening scream, As the Raven fell to earth, so did the dark dream. The curse broken, the dark angel consigned to hell, At last he lay peaceful, no longer under her spell.

Smoke 07:46
Smoke and dreams, In your world of extremes. Black is white, You'll dream your death tonight. From the darkness of the hall, The mirror spies on me. It multiplies the universe, But needs the light to see. One more pill, It helps to bend the will. Cold and sane, A therapeutic gain. Eyes wide shut, With sharpened blade you cut. White from black, The grey is what you lack. As the dying sun, Mourns the end of day. The promise of the lotus flower, Will take your guilt away. Smoke and dreams, In your world of extremes. Black is white, They'll haunt your dreams tonight.
