She wandered lonely through the forest,
Darkness filled her as she cried.
Along the pathway, to the clearing,
A bed of roses where she died.

Fear not the Prince of Darkness,
You will learn to understand.
Death is the only answer,

As the leaves begin to fall.
A child awakes to distant thunder,
While we await the siren’s call.
