My eyes see only the brightest black,
My hands reach out for everything I lack.

As the mirror cracks from side to side,
My heart feels only the part of me that died.

From loneliness and heartfelt sorrow,
With shattered blade, I'll kill tomorrow.

With a twist of the knife, I'll cut so deep,
The moon blood red, angels will weep.

The chime hours ring the dead of night,
My soul roams alone, longing for the light.

But sorrow continues to caress my face,
And fate weaves me in to this godforsaken place.

The sun rises slowly, tomorrow becomes today,
The light shatters into a hopeless shade of grey.

So through the dark I journey on, sorrow my only guide,
Memories of a life gone by drag slowly by my side.

In darkened dreams of which I borrow,
Through shattered dreams, I'll live tomorrow.
